Privacy policy

This policy describes what Sterling Finka actually does with information. It does not describe analytics, advertising networks, or third-party cookies, because this site does not use them.

The project is an educational studio. It is not a bank, brokerage, or advisory firm, and it is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. It does not claim an ICO registration number on this page.

Contact form

If you send the form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you typed. The purpose is to reply. The legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in answering it, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We keep the message only as long as we need it to reply and to keep a record of that reply.

The form is handled on this site. It does not pass through an analytics tool. Sending a message is optional.

What stays on your device

Two keys may be stored in local storage in your browser: eduNoticeAck, after you acknowledge the educational notice, and cookieConsent, after you accept or decline the storage notice. These are preferences, not analytics cookies. We do not set advertising cookies or third-party cookies.

The typefaces load from Google Fonts. That is the only request to another site. Google may receive your IP address as part of delivering the font files. We do not receive that log.

Your rights

You may ask what form messages we still hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete them. Write to learn@sterlingfinka.com. You may also clear local storage in your browser, which removes the two preferences. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Supervisory authority

The Information Commissioner’s Office publishes guidance at ico.org.uk. We do not transfer form messages outside the United Kingdom as part of the site’s own systems. If a later tool ever did, we would describe it here before using it.
